The Force Field Diagram is used to weigh up the points for and against a potential action.
NotesForce-Field Diagrams are not a well-known tool, but they are used fairly widely, often appearing in company toolkits, which is a good sign of their practical value. Their use in tandem with Cause-Effect Diagrams is sometimes called CEFFA (for Cause-Effect diagrams with Force-Field Analysis). |
