Accuracy

Accuracy generally means the extent to which something conforms to requirements. Along with timeliness it is a common general measure that is used in various forms in many different situations.

A process may produce inaccurate outputs because it lacks capability, because it is using sub-standard inputs, or because it is not being followed correctly.

The term 'accuracy' is also used to indicate the degree of centering of a set of data.
